Our client, a fast-growing, innovative technology company headquartered in Europe, provides a unique and all-encompassing events management platform. From ticketing to bookings, invitations and attendees, this platform does it all on a global scale. Having successfully managed 10's of thousands of organisers and millions of attendees, they are ready for their next strategic growth phase with the hiring of a Berlin-based Head of Sales (Sales Director).
As a Berlin-based Head of Sales, you will:
* Develop, define and deliver a business plan and sales strategy for the DACH market
* Ensure attainment of company sales goals and profitability through rapidly building a world-class sales team
* Lead by example in a Player-Manager capacity
* Initiate and coordinate development of plans to penetrate new markets
* Lead the preparation of RFP's, develop and maintain sales forecasts and reports
* Analyse sales statistics, review market analysis to determine customer needs, volume potential and price schedules to formulate policy and develop sales campaigns
* Recruit, hire and train/coach Sales Executives for maximum performance
* Manage the performance and development of a growing sales function
The ideal candidate will:
* Be educated to degree level and possess a minimum of 10+ year's sales experience with 5+ in sales management
* Come from a technology sales background. More specifically software
* Be a natural leader with a strong history of developing and delivering successful sales functions (grow and coach team)
* Demonstrate strong and proven leadership skills
* Be strategic, hands-on, a team player/leader and highly entrepreneurial
* Speak fluent German
The successful sales candidate can expect an initial basic salary of 90-130k plus additional benefits. First-year realistic earnings are circa 150-200k.
