Sales & Customer Support Executive (temporary)

Bell is recruiting for a temporary Sales & Customer Support Executive to start immediately working as part of the Sales and Customer Support Team at our Head Office in Cambridge until the end of August 2018.

Your role will be to deliver an excellent service to customers from point of receiving bookings, to arrival in centre.

The main responsibilities include:

  • Liaise with all customers in a friendly, professional and approachable manner.

  • Process all bookings accurately and in a timely manner

  • Request and chase payment

  • Issue confirmation documents

  • Make pre-arrival amendments to booking as required, collecting payment where necessary.

  • Send pre-arrival information to customers

  • Collect all student information needed before arrival including arrival flight details and departure tickets

  • Process/ update student travel, medical and visa information

  • Run weekly reports to ensure all information has been captured

  • Respond to all incoming emails and phone calls promptly

  • Maintain in-depth product knowledge of Bell’s complete portfolio

  • Ensure all incoming enquiries are channelled to the correct department

  • Liaise closely with other departments to ensure co-ordination of activity and effective knowledge dissemination

  • Provide general administration support to the Business Development Team

  • Be aware of the up to date visa rules and follow Bell and UK Home office guidelines when processing visa national bookings

  • Provide advice across all Bell products (adult, YL, and Teacher Training/Development) and, where appropriate, on products offered by selected partners

Essential skills and experience:

  • A-levels or equivalent

  • Office administration

  • Working in a customer service role (phone and email)

  • Working in a demanding and pressured environment

  • Customer service oriented

  • Organised, efficient and flexible

  • Excellent eye for detail

  • High level of accuracy in work

  • Manage and prioritise workload effectively

  • Able to listen to and follow instruction

  • Calm and positive under pressure

  • Willing to learn

  • Can work within a team

  • Can forge good working relationships with colleagues & customers

  • Able to use initiative

  • Highly motivated and results-oriented

Desirable skills:

  • International admissions administration experience at a school, College, language school or university

  • Fluency in one or more foreign language

  • Willing to work flexibly, including bank holidays as required
