As part of the Sales team the Consultant's role is to sell new modules and other products and services to the existing customer base. The role involves calling customers to assess potential needs and discuss through considered explanation of services; following through opportunities to close sales in order to meet company targets.
The successful candidate will need to have previous sales experience.
Key responsibilities :
Have the ability to meet KPI's in terms of call rates, appointments booked, conversion rates and revenue targets. (The targets will be communicated to you by the Sales Manager)
Strongly negotiate to close orders within discount structures provided
Ensure all commercial information about the order is complete and accurate before being processed.
Gather and confirm contact details of key personnel, verify contact details, positions and email addresses and update the information for future opportunities.
Be able to overcome objections given to you in order to reach the correct person or close a sale.
Excellent telephone manner
Experience of working in a target driven environment
Excellent communication and listening skills
