Our client located in Shrewsbury are currently recruiting for a Sales Co-ordinator to work 25 hours per week you will be responsible for giving sales support to the Advertising Sales Managers and their regional sales teams. Experience within the media industry would be advantageous for this role but not essential as full training will be provided.
- Responsible for giving sales support to the Advertising Sales Manager and the regional sales
- Planning of advertisements within weekly and daily publications
- Daily and weekly monitoring of publications i.e. pre-payments, house accounts. Report any discrepancies to your manager or sales person responsible.
- Maintain sickness and holiday records for the sales team
- Answering telephone and taking messages in the sales person or manager's absence
- Effectively communicate daily space allocations to the remote sales teams with updates throughout the day
- Customer service calls including copy amendments, proofs for sign off and pre payment collections
- Log all call activity on internal Knowledge Prospect System.
- Liaison with other departments - production, digital and credit control
- Daily copy flow check through pulse for missing/late advertisements both print and digital
- Carry out any other duties as may be reasonably required.
Hours are Monday to Friday 25 hours per week offering an hourly rate of £8.03-£9.23 per hour dependent on previous experience.
