Alanaka (of London) has a rich history dating back to 1985 when it was founded by Mr. Abdul Kader Haffar. His journey with fabrics began in the late 1960s, continuing a trade started by his father in Damascus in the early 1900s.

Our London business began in a single unit on Goldhawk Road and quickly grew, expanding into the adjacent unit and eventually acquiring a third, even larger unit. Sales Associate – The Role & Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking a customer-oriented Sales Associate to join our team at our fashion retail shop located in the heart of Shepherd's Bush, London.

- Greet and assist customers with their needs, providing a personalized shopping experience

- Stay knowledgeable about our product lines and current fashion trends to offer style advice and recommendations

- Manage transactions at the cash register and maintain accurate cash drawer

- Assist in visual merchandising to ensure the shop floor is appealing and tidy

- Participate in inventory management and ensure stock levels are maintained

- Handle customer queries and complaints with a professional and positive attitude

Sales Associate – You:

- Fluent in Arabic, as most important customers speak Arabic

- Proven experience in retail sales, preferably in the fashion sector

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

- Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and holidays. Longer hours in the summer high season

- Have experience working within fashion or textiles
