As the Sales Associate, you will:
- Undertake research to define suitable target contacts.
- Make appointments for face to face meetings for the Field Team.
- Proactively cold/warm call suspects to create a pipeline of interested prospects.
- Build long-lasting relationships to maintain & develop the accounts you manage & support.
- Proactively research and develop an appropriate knowledge of Customer business & requirements.
- Participate in the achievement of targets.
- Participate in the recordkeeping of information on the CRM and associated files.
- Attend exhibitions aimed at relevant sectors to introduce the Company.
The Ideal candidate for the position of Sales Associate will have:
- A background within a B2B sales environment where you have completed the full sales process from sourcing your opportunity to closing the sale.
- Either an IT / Technical interest or knowledge is preferred, or at minimum a background within the Marine, Defence, Security, Automotive, Communications, Energy, Medical or Transport sectors.
- Knowledgeable and competent user of current day office automation packages (i.e. Microsoft Word & Excel, etc).
- Either relevant Degree qualification or proven experience within the sectors listed above.
- IT / Technical qualifications are also preferred but not essential
In return, the Sales Associate will receive a basic salary of £18000 - £20000, plus commissions. You will also receive 28 days personal and public holidays increasing with service, flexible working hours, annual bonuses and free onsite parking.
