A leading asset manager is looking to appoint a Regional Account Manager to join its UK Wholesale team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a central role in one of the fastest-growing areas of investment distribution: outsourced investment solutions. You’ll work across bespoke portfolios, discretionary fund management solutions (DFMs/MPS) and multi-asset strategies, while building lasting client partnerships nationwide.

This role is pivotal in building strong, consultative client relationships, ensuring both immediate results and long-term value for clients and the business. You’ll play a key role in connecting client needs with tailored investment solutions.

What you’ll do:

  • Act as the primary contact for leads generated through marketing, webinars and events.
  • Build trusted, long-term partnerships with financial advisers and platforms, translating client needs into tailored solutions.
  • Deliver clear, engaging presentations, proposals and market insights to adviser firms and at industry events.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues across investment, operations and marketing to ensure seamless onboarding and service delivery.
  • Support product development, strategic planning and client engagement initiatives alongside senior leadership.
  • Contribute to both near-term success and long-term business growth by focusing on client outcomes and sustainable partnerships.

What we’re looking for:

  • 5+ years’ experience in a similar role within financial services, ideally investment or wealth management.
  • A proactive, client-focused approach with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong presentation ability and confidence when engaging with senior stakeholders.
  • Previous sales experience is advantageous but not essential full training and development will be provided.
  • Collaborative, motivated and curious, with the initiative to add value across the team.
  • Degree educated and/or relevant industry qualifications (e.g. IMC). A willingness to pursue further qualifications (fully supported) is essential.
  • This role involves travel for key client meetings and events, with flexibility to manage your schedule in a way that works for you and your clients.

We’re looking for someone motivated, curious and eager to learn. You don’t need to meet every requirement. If you bring strong communication skills, previous client experience and a genuine interest in financial markets, we’ll support you in building the rest.

Due to the increased applications for this role, we apologise that you may not get a response unless you fit the criteria.

At our company, we prioritise equity throughout the entire recruitment process. We are committed to ensuring fairness and equal opportunities for all candidates. If there is anything we can do to make the process more accessible to you, please don't hesitate to let us know.
