Showroom Assistant / Sales Assistant / Customer Service / Sales Admin

Sales Assistant with excellent customer service, and ideally some client facing sales experience, is needed for our client, the largest installer of security and fire prevention systems in London and the South East, to be based in their flagship showroom in Kensington, London.

With the invention of the first automatic door bolt in 1926, the company has evolved into a modern but still family owned and run company, with over

300 staff across London.

They are looking for a Sales Assistant to join their busy team. You will be well presented, a good communicator and able to demonstrate excellent

customer service. You must be able to perform under pressure and still provide exceptional service to their customers.

The Role:

Answering inbound customer calls

Liaising with clients face to face, over the phone and by email to resolve any queries or to confirm orders

Booking appointments for customers

Entering, retrieving and interpreting information in a database

Processing payments and orders

Keeping track of pending customer orders and liaising with other departments to fulfil them

Learning their product range and how their products function

Advise customers with basic knowledge of their products

General administration support and maintaining good customer relations

Providing the right details and information to customers to conclude sales.

Working as part of a team to keep their flagship showroom running to its highest standards

Preferred Skills:

Sales experience is preferable but not necessarily in the security industry as full training will be given

Excellent customer service & client management skills

Able to understand numeric and alphabetic data

Proactive and flexible

Proficient with Information technology

Excellent communication both written and verbal

Be courteous, helpful and professional in whatever circumstance

Be confident, thorough and collaborative

Keen learner that is able to adapt to in house systems

Able to follow rules and procedures and understand the importance of them

This is a full time position, Monday to Saturday, salary to be negotiated.
