New role within the company, responsible for the sales activities with both existing and new customers. You will work closely with the relevant engineering and project management leads. International and UK travel will be requires.
-Win new business within the Defence sector
-Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports
-Conduct market research to identify opportunities and contacts
-Maintain up to date knowledge on the company's offerings, competitor offerings and market needs
-Build business relationships with existing customers, new customers and new potential partners
-Produce proposals and/or tender responses in line with company processes and delegation of authority limits
-Develop campaign plans and use relationships and technical knowledge of the company offerings to drove incremental business from accounts.
Experience and Qualifications
-Technical sales knowledge with a track record of winning new business within the defence industry
-Strong background in budgeting/cost management with proven commercial/technical knowledge
-The ability to win new business against order intake targets
-Degree level Qualification
