Sales and Marketing Co-ordinator

The Client

We are assisting a local family manufacturer and distributor with offices in Derbyshire and South Yorkshire who are looking to increase their Sales & marketing team and grow their business. This opportunity will be based at the Derbyshire Dales offices.

The applicant

You must be a self-motivated, creative and full of energy with experience of working within Business Development, sales and marketing and/or sales administration. This is a varied role and the successful applicant will be an important member of the team.

Ideally our client is looking for a full-time individual although they will consider part-time for the right person.

The Role

  • Report into the Managing Director with all administrative matters
  • Answering/dealing with customer enquiries and maintain customer relations with by telephone, email and or in person
  • Process and production of customer quotations
  • Process and enter sales and purchase orders
  • Deal with suppliers and administration of supplier accounts
  • Maintain, edit and operate CRM package
  • Assist in designing/producing marketing material for new and existing products lines
  • Using excel mail merge to produce mail shots
  • Assist in composing new product bulletins and brochures
  • Due to the small size of the business undertook other duties as and when required in other departments to enable the smooth running of the company

Desirable skills, knowledge & experience:

  • At least 1-2 year's experience working in a similar role
  • Excellent IT skills including: MS Office and Sage.
  • Social Media, Eshot and Photoshop experience would be advantageous but, not essential
  • Experience of Website administration would be advantageous but, not essential
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to multi-task
  • High attention to detail and take pride in your work
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Enthusiastic, confident and dynamic personality
  • Able to work on own initiative
