The Flour Station is an artisan bakery baking fresh sourdough breads and traditional pastries every day of the year for delivery to some of the finest cafes, restaurants and delis across London. The Job

You’ll be introducing our fresh bread and pastries with passion and enthusiasm to chefs and food buyers across London and beyond.

We pride ourselves on making a premium quality product and offering a high level of service to all our customers. In our experience, people are only too glad to be introduced to the range, so it’s more a question of getting in touch and making people aware, than 'cold calling/hard sell’!

The Person

Ideally you’ll have experience of selling and serving customers but not necessarily in a business development context. Primarily we are looking for people who are passionate about food and restaurants.

We are all now bread obsessed, of course, but initially we came together through a love of real food in general rather than bread in particular so we don’t require anyone to have extensive technical baking knowledge. A few days in the bakery and you’ll be hooked anyway.

You will certainly be efficient and organised. Finding a great restaurant that loves our bread is the 'easy’ part but doing the 'back office’ work is crucial when it comes to actually bringing them on board as a new account. You will be responsible for checking their viability as a potential customer, selecting suitable samples to complement their menu/offering, providing them with all the information they need in order to make swift decision and following up with a polite persistence rather than a bullying determination. All this with a smile and enthusiasm that knows no bounds!

Salary will be competitive and relative to experience, based on a base salary plus commission.

Working hours-Monday-Friday 9am-5pm
