Sales and Business Development Executive Required for Busy Staffordshire Based Sales OfficeWe are a nationwide sales company providing shipping containers for a variety of customers. We are looking for a self-motivated, experienced, highly ambitious internal sales executive to join our ever-growing team, at our busy Cannock based sales office.
If you have a natural ability to build rapport quickly, a proven sales track record, outstanding communication skills and an ability to work to targets we will reward you with a transparent and generous commission structure along with your basic salary, comprehensive training and on-going support.
You will be dealing with a variety of different customers on a daily basis and providing quotations and following up on a wide range of requirements from straightforward storage containers to technical conversions and interesting projects.
The successful candidate will be able to:
Build on present business whilst creating and developing new opportunities within the container sales and hire markets, achieve sales and revenue targets as agreed with the company, identify, source and convert new opportunities into sales orders, whilst maintaining a thorough watching brief and follow-up procedure for potential opportunities.
Liaise with customers on a daily basis to fully understand their requirements and accurately quote on items required accordingly. Actively seek feedback on customer requirements and product development, and to convey this information to relevant manager for action. Visit customers and sites to encourage sales of converted equipment and occasionally attend exhibitions where sales opportunities must be maximised. Keep a strong working relationship with present suppliers and develop new relationships with suppliers. Build and maintain customer records and databases, attend regular sales meetings and provide clear and concise activity reports and forecasts as and when required by the company. Be passionate about selling.
Carry out training and motivational activities with the sales team, always focusing on development, motivation, improvement and profitability. Develop a good working relationship with all colleagues and maintain a working knowledge of available equipment. Contribute to improving the business and enhancing the reputation of the company by putting forward new ideas and implementing change when requested to do so.
Be a good team player, willing to learn and grow within the company, be flexible and willing to go the extra mile, be experienced in sales and business development, be self-motivated, be pro-active with a "can-do" attitude, and have excellent customer service skills.

Based at our Cannock office you will have the opportunity to start and nurture your own customer base through business development and account management.
The ideal candidate must be available to work 40 hours per week, a full UK driving license and access to a vehicle is preferred but not imperative and you must have proof of the right to work in the UK.
