Sales and Administration Assistant - Bournemouth

About us

CUPE International is an Accredited Project, Programme and Portfolio Management Training and Consultancy Organisation based in Bournemouth. CUPE has a large International client base and delivers training and consultancy globally. We are looking for a highly motivated team member to join our small office based team in the full-time role of Sales and Administration Assistant.

The role

This role has areas of responsibility as shown below. As a small team, all team members are expected to be flexible and willing to undertake duties outside their role description where appropriate; therefore a can-do attitude is a pre-requisite! The desire to learn new skills and adapt to the changing business environment is also essential. We are looking for a strong team player to join our existing team.

Core Responsibilities Include;

  • Sales and administration support as required including processing bookings and examinations
  • Providing excellent customer service, while maintaining a commercial approach
  • Co-ordination of training events (venues, trainers, materials etc.)
  • Initial responses to customer enquiries, both corporate and individuals
  • Customer quotations
  • Responding to incoming sales leads
  • Maintaining accreditation paperwork required by the Exam Institutes for all subjects
  • Maintaining records of Trainer, Invigilator and Organisational accreditation re-assessment dates and requirements
  • Coordinating all activities relating to accreditation items, ensuring all activities have been undertaken by the relevant team members and external parties
  • Assist with the creation and distribution of newsletters
  • Social media updates -LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebooketc.
  • To support the Partnerships and Operations Manager
  • To ensure company standards are implemented and upheld

The ideal Candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge and abilities;

  • Excellent communication skills
  • The ability to build and maintain excellent customer relationships
  • Capability to pro-actively find solutions
  • Confidently use MS Office; Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook
  • A good level of English and Maths
  • An awareness of Project Management or Project Environments is desirable


Salary: up to £25,000 (depending on experience)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday - 37.5 hours per week

Annual Leave: 20 days plus UK Bank Holidays

Pension: Stakeholder Workplace Pension Scheme
