We are looking to recruit across the UK for confident and passionate Temporary Sales Advisors to work during the Christmas peak trading period for our Harveys Furniture stores. Whether you are looking to earn some extra money over the festive period or would like the opportunity to gain some experience working in retail, we want to hear from you. Our exciting Winter Sale starts on Boxing Day and we want to ensure all our customers receive exceptional service over this festive and busy trading period, ensuring they choose the right deals for them.

This is a seasonal Temporary Sales Advisor position in which you will be contracted to work between 26th December 2018 and 8th January 2018. You will be required to work early starts, late nights and weekends. We advise that you only apply for the role if you can commit to working these hours. Training will be provided, and you will be asked to attend up to 1 day of training in w/c 17th December 2018.

This is one of the most exciting times of the year for our business with our retail stores becoming extremely busy with potential customers looking for quality products to enhance their home. As our Temporary Sales Advisor you will welcome, approach and engage with all our potential customers as they walk into store, upholding and delivering a level of service we are proud of.

Your main responsibilities as Temporary Sales Advisors will be to:

  • Introduce yourself and engage with customers to create quality leads with all potential customers
  • Ensure each and every customer receives excellent customer service each and every time
  • Introduce and provide a professional hand over of the potential customer to the Sales Consultant
  • Support our Sales Consultants with processing orders and any additional paperwork

The successful Temporary Sales Advisors will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be confident in approaching customers and have a positive and outgoing personality. You will be of smart appearance with a can do attitude and a team player who will help drive the business forward and achieve increased revenues.
