Sales Advisor

An excellent opportunity to work for a FTSE 250 business as a Sales Advisor based in Bedfordshire. You carry out all aspects of the day to day running of the sales information centre whilst ensuring the best possible customer journey

Client Details

My client is one of the UK's leading home builders, they have staff working across seven regions in England, they are able to deliver schemes from smaller developments, to larger urban extensions with thousands of new homes and supporting infrastructure. They are looking to strengthen their team in Shefford with a Sales Advisor


As a Sales Advisor you will:

  • Represent the company in sales negotiations and administration
  • Respond to all enquiries
  • Deal with all visitors to the sales centre in a polite and efficient manner
  • Follow sales process to ensure full compliance with company procedures
  • Ensure that the customer is kept informed of the progress of their purchase
  • Respond to all cancellations making every effort to save the reservation and at all times identify the reason for cancellation
  • Generate sales by offering relevant purchase assistance schemes, as directed by the company
  • Work as a team within the development to ensure customer extras drive additional profit for the company


The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience working for a residential house builder
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Good administration skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Good understanding of building regulations and legal obligations an advantage

Job Offer

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of up to £25,000 plus uncapped commission, 26 days holiday plus bank holidays, as well as other benefits
