An established company specialising in the sales of semi-finished acrylic material to industry. Based in Nuneaton, the company have been established for over 20 years and have a proven track record of supplying major companies with specialist acrylics. Currently experiencing rapid growth and there are plans to expand and move the operation into bigger premises in the near future. The team of 11 staff work closely in a busy but relaxed atmosphere.

Your new role

The Sales Administrator is required to process customers' enquiry from quote through to delivery. You will be dealing with both email and telephone enquiries, and at peak you could be dealing with up to 40 enquiries per day.

Working hours are Monday - Thursday 8.30 - 5.30 and Friday 8.30 - 5.00

Main Tasks:

To help customers with any enquiries or questions in a helpful manor

Assess the characteristics of product/service being sold and decide on its main selling points

Receives orders for goods/services by telephone, fax and email and records relevant details, check details, make corrections, adjust stock, informs customer, sends data sheets, processes orders, enquiries and returns

Calculates prices and delivery conditions and records details of agreed quotes/orders

Stays abreast of advances in product/services field and company procedures/rules

Types correspondence, memos, letters, faxes and spreadsheets

Update and maintain computer and manual records

What you'll get in return

Training will be given on the product and processes involved.
£18,000 starting salary, rising to £18500 once successful completion of probation (3 months)
Generous annual leave entitlement of 24 days plus all bank holidays
Pension: After completion of the 3 month trial a pension will be offered including a 3% contribution by the company
Parking - onsite and free
