Sales Administrator

Reed Business Support is proud to be recruiting for a Sales Administrator on behalf of a leading distribution company based in Bamber Bridge, Preston.

Working as part of a close knit team, you will be responsible for working closely with the purchasing and warehouse departments to ensure customer orders are fulfilled and the highest standard of customer service is achieved.

Your daily duties will include…
• Take orders directly from customers via email and telephone
• Updating customers on the progress of their orders
• Processing delivery notes and sales invoices
• Sending out quotations to customers
• Making enquiries to suppliers
• Handling technical drawings
• Updating customer records and the database for new and existing customers
• Updating and maintaining stock records
• Handling general enquiries and complaints

Offering £18,000 - £20,000 (depending upon experience) this is a full time, permanent position working Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5.00pm. You will benefit from 28 days holiday including bank holidays, Christmas shut down period, an annual company bonus scheme and free parking.

The successful candidates will have…
• Excellent communication skills including a pleasant and professional telephone manner
• Excellent organisational skills
• Good IT skills including Word, Excel and Outlook

Experience within a similar customer service or sales order processing role is essential.
