Position: Sales Administrator 
Location: Robin Hood, Wakefield 
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent 
Hours: 8:30-17:00 
Salary: Up to £19,000 per annum

About the role: 

Enthusiastic, proactive individual required within their small, friendly Sales Administration team, in their 26th year of business! The Sales Support Administrator supports the sales team by processing sales orders, maintaining spreadsheets in Excel and creating invoices. 

As the role involves checking paperwork regularly, this is a role that needs your exceptional attention to detail, good spelling and grammar and a 'perfectionist' attitude - with a great sense of humour! 

You will take ownership of issues, seeing things through to a conclusion - relationship-building, great communication skills. 

In addition, you'll need to be able to use Microsoft packages (Excel in particular - basic formulas, formatting etc.) and have an ability to pick up new software quickly as they have a number of bespoke systems. 

About you: 

In terms of experience, any fast-paced administration or finance role would set you in good stead for this position. They’ll consider those who have limited experience but who can demonstrate the skills they are looking for within their CV. They do look for A* to C GCSE grades in English and Maths in particular. 

They would like someone to make the role their own, a desire to learn and the confidence to improve the way they work with simple but effective solutions would be ideal. They are keen for you to learn the role of others so helping out on reception from time to time, covering holidays in other departments is essential.
