Sales Administrator

Toucan recruitment are looking for a strong Sales Controller/Administrator to join a growing organisation in Newport.

  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to keep calm under pressure in a busy sales environment
  • Methodical and organised
  • Attention to detail
  • Computer literate. Knowledge of "MCS" system and "CRM" an advantage but not essential as full training will be provided
  • Full clean driving license

Specific duties will include but not limited to;

  • Handling business leads generated from the sale team and external lead providers such as ABI / Glenigans to seek sales opportunities
  • Dealing with incoming telephone / electronic enquiries
  • Telesales, capturing and reporting information onto CRM
  • Gaining appointments for external sales team / depot manager
  • Building relationships with existing and new clients
  • On Hire Contracts / Off Hires via computer system using bespoke software
  • Dealing with service calls and allocating maintenance work via computer system
  • Sourcing equipment and raising purchase orders
  • Liaising with suppliers negotiating prices and chasing delivery dates
  • Planning and organising transport
  • General administration work and filing
  • Asset / Stock Controls
  • Assisting / deputising for the depot manager in respect of planning, risk assessments & method statements and yard supervision

Salary is negotiable between 16k - 18k
