Sales Administrator

Responsibilities

- Process and manage sales orders according to procedures to ensure orders are contractually and technically compliant
- To ensure that the team delivers orders to time as promised and with correct paperwork
- Process Letters of Credit Act as second reviewer for sales order entries
- Provide support to the returns administrator and holiday/sick cover if required
- Process all sample requests - keep track of requests, customer contact to progress to order. Liaise directly with customers by phone/email on sales order progress and deliveries
- Monitor and forward all enquiries received via the website

You will need to be
- Methodical, accurate and precise approach to work
- Good timekeeper and able to meet deadlines
- Can do and flexible approach to variety of duties
- Willing to learn and interested in the product and the business
- Ability to work in a team

Experience required
- Excellent attention to detail and accurate data input
- Proven telephone and customer service skills
- Evidence of good Excel and Outlook knowledge and experience
- Experience of using an ERP or MRP system
- Ability to communicate well with internal departments
- Good numerical skills
- Able to organise own workload
- Proven customer service experience (either internal or external)
