This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated, amiable and personable individual to support the Project Sales Team.

The company has 25 years of experience and is well established working with a range of clients that includes Hotel Chains, Spa’s, Football Clubs and Education and Corporate Environments.

This role will report directly into Head of Finance & Operations to support current and future Sales and Marketing needs. This will involve managing the current sales database, managing the current tenders/quotes for the client base, client follow up, as well as developing new avenues to gain future sales.

As this is a newly created position within a growing company, you will have a large amount of scope to shape your role and will enable you to progress within the business.

The company is well known for their staff retention and development and you will be joining at a perfect time as they have just moved into their new premises in Wyboston.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Understand customer needs and requirements
  • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure
  • Issue quotations
  • Close sales - receive confirmed order through client management and process order paper work
  • Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
  • Maintain and expand database of prospects
  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow up on proposed projects and lead follow up on current client list by phone and email
  • Directing marketing activities
  • Dealing with day to day customer queries by phone and email
  • Logging and maintaining CRM records for analysis
  • Maintaining weekly/monthly sales reporting
  • Develop new reporting
  • Ad hoc activities to support sales and sales reporting

This is a role created to support the changing needs of the Sales team and is ideal for a candidate that has strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, planning and organisation skills.
