Aardvark Safaris is a tour operator specialising in holidays to Africa and the Indian Ocean. The company was started in 1999 and is privately owned. This means we are completely independent in choosing the camps and countries we promote. Owners Richard Smith and Alice Gully are very much involved running the company, with the help of a great team around them.

Aardvark has two offices in the UK, in Hampshire and the Scottish borders.

We strive to provide our clients with truly exceptional service and holidays which surpass all expectations. Many of our clients return to us year on year, and much of our business comes via word of mouth recommendations. Our staff are key to the very personal service we provide, so we choose only dedicated, passionate professionals to work with us.

Job outline
A full time position, based at our offices in Tidworth.

  • Starting salary to be discussed on application
  • 28 days holiday including bank holidays, running on a yearly cycle from 1st April to 30th March
  • Working hours 0900 to 1730, Monday to Friday
  • Assisting two sales consultants with daily admin tasks

The Sales Assistant works as administrative support to the Aardvark Safaris sales team to ensure the highest standard of client care and satisfaction. This involves detailed record keeping, liaising with African suppliers, airlines and clients, and general office duties.
