Our client is looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic account manager to add to it's established and expanding team in Saltaire. Your role is to maximise the sales of the company’s goods including stationery, printer consumables, furniture and labels as they distinguish themselves further within this diverse yet competitive market.
18 - 25K basic with 4 K bonus initially, rising up to to 18k with progress.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Developing relationships with existing customers via telephone calls and emails
- Contacting potential customers to prospect for new business
- Reviewing own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets
- Gaining a clear understanding of customers' requirements
- Making accurate, rapid cost calculations, and providing customers with quotations
- Strategically negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales
- Being aware of and gathering market and customer information
- Advising on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions
- Recording sales and order information and documenting information to your sales director
Hours: 8.45 - 5.15 with 1 hour lunch. Home working initially.
