Sales Account Manager
Our client is a fast-paced electronics manufacturer and distributor. They currently require a Sales Account Manager to join them in a new role to act as a reseller and provide a professional sales service to new and existing customers and suppliers.
The Sales Account Manager is responsible for liaising and building relationships with other consumer electronics manufacturers in the UK, Europe and China to ascertain whether they have end-of-line / out of date stock, or stock that has not sold. They will then liaise with an established network of distributors, retail outlets and online portals to ascertain their interest in the stock and structure a deal that suits all parties. In effect the Sales Account Manager is the middleman helping manufacturers reduces their losses while others can turn a profit.
Successful applicants should be able to demonstrate:
- Understanding how to prospect and win new business.
- Experience of managing complex accounts.
- Understanding of business processes.
- A proactive approach and can-do attitude.
- Experience of consumer electronics / reseller market / IT distribution.
In return a basic salary of 20k-25k is provided (depending upon experience) plus a realistic bonus scheme of an additional 25k per annum for hitting targets and achieving margins. There is also a work place pension, private healthcare and onsite parking.
