Sales Account Manager

An established team in the company where you will be responsible for managing current clients and ensuring maximum profitability and usage is seeking a Sales Account Manager based in Ellesmere Port to join its expanding team. You will receive excellent commission structure which is un-capped, potential long-term career opportunities within the business, 33 days annual leave increasing to 35 days and much more.

As the Sales Account Manager, your duties will be to:

  • Deliver excellent service and achieve new business and performance targets through effective customer service.
  • Keep in contact with key decision makers with a view to developing and maintaining strong business relationships.
  • Use a consultative approach to identify up-sell/cross-sell opportunities in order to maximise profitability.
  • Assist the new business team in securing new contracts
  • Listen and understand the client’s needs to ensure tailored solutions.
  • Arrange training for clients to further educate staff on products and service.
  • Handle contract and subscription renewals.
  • Make appointments for Regional Managers to ensure effective renewals of contracts if applicable.
  • Effectively manage your own diary of client calls and correspondence.

 To be a successful Sales Account Manager you will have the following skills and experience:

  • Account management or sales experience is vital within a business to business (B2B) setting.
  • A high work ethic coupled with an energetic and methodical approach to work.
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills.
  • Strong verbal and listening skills coupled with a professional telephone manner.
  • Basic IT skills.

 In return, the Sales Account Manager will receive a salary of £18,911 per annum with uncapped commission (£36,000 OTE). Free parking is available on site.
