Logistics Account Manager/ Internal Sales Executive - Chester area

Salary up to £25,000 (DOE) plus bonus and career opportunities! - Parking on site

Our client a leading logistics company is currently seeking a sales account manager to join this fast growing team and company. Your position will be working alongside other Business development managers and the role will include:

New Business

  • Identification, development and farming of new business to meet sales targets.
  • Contact key decision makers to meet company objectives
  • Preparation and presentation of proposals, rates.
  • Ongoing personal development of key sales skills
  • Contact key decision makers to meet company objectives
  • Actively participate in sales meetings, trade shows, seminars, training and events.

Account Management

  • Account management of existing accounts.
  • Maintain client profiles ensuring the are up to date.
  • Grow existing relationships and lead generation

Administration

  • Plan daily, monthly forecasts to hit sales targets and KPI’S
  • Analyse and monitor office sales data for trends of up traders / down traders
  • Actively participate in sales meetings, trade shows, seminars, training and events.
  • Keep abreast of carrier information and competitors
  • Recording of data through the use of CRM, completion of daily and weekly reports and customer profiling.
