£19,000 basic plus un-capped commission (£24,000 OTE)



A leading provider in communication and data services within the education sector are currently seeking a Sales Account Manager to join their expanding team. The role focuses on both developing new business opportunities and account managing current clients. Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm. On offer is a basic salary of £19,000 with un-capped commission where earnings can exceed £24,000.

This is a great opportunity to join an expanding company. The business have regular incentives and trips away so employees are well looked after. There would also be long-term opportunities to move into a Senior Sales Account Manager or begin management with Team Leader roles.

The main duties of a Sales Account Manager are;

  • Build, develop and grow relationships with clients using a consultative sales approach
  • Provide quotations and proposals to clients
  • Build and manage sales pipeline
  • Work closely with the wider team to maximise every sales opportunity and act on warm leads provide
  • Account manage current clients within your geographical area
  • Up and cross-sell new opportunities to current clients and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers
  • Carry out online demonstrations to potential new clients or new products/services to current clients
  • Provide excellent levels customer service
  • Maintain and update the CRM system

To apply for this role;

  • Have B2B sales/account management experience
  • Be experienced in consultative sales - focused on building long-term relationships and selling back based on clients requirements
  • Experience in IT/Education sales would be an advantage but not necessary as full industry and product training will be given
  • You must have a driven and ambitious personality with excellent customer service and sales skills
