Sales Account Manager

We are looking for an independent, tenacious and hungry Sales Account Manager to join a small but well established business in the Pangbourne area. This opportunity is ideal for someone looking for an all-round and busy Sales role where you will be hands-on and independent. In reward for your hard work and achievements you will receive a very generous uncapped commission structure, whilst also being eligible for quarterly bonuses in the form of prizes and monetary value. The business is extremely friendly, down-to-Earth and overall realistic.

The successful candidate will come from a busy and all-round Sales background with experience of managing and growing already existing large accounts whilst developing new business opportunities elsewhere. Your client base will be national and the market opportunity to sell to is enormous - travel will be required however company expenses are fully reimbursed. For both existing and new business, you will be expected to build strong relationships both remotely from the office and field based with the luxury of 'wining and dining' key contacts to win business.

Due to the nature of the role a Full UK Licence is essential. Although field based, you will need to live locally to the Pangbourne area in order to work from the office also.

Base Salary:£30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience
Commission:Uncapped commission structure
Hours:08:30 - 17:30, Monday to Friday
Benefits:Quarterly bonuses - both cash and prizes dependent on revenue targets being achieved
Company car, laptop/tablet and mobile
Expenses are paid for company use

Primary duties:
*Manage key accounts for the business already generating existing revenue and continue to establish relations to increase revenue opportunity further
*Identify new business opportunities by generating your own leads and making contact
*Lead generating and area mapping
*Identify potential growth from existing customer base and to convert these opportunities into profitable business
*Appointment setting and diary management
*Attend face to face meetings with prospective clients to educate them on company services and gain their commitment
*Retain existing contracts ensuring consistent delivery
*Gain a strong understanding of company products and services, along with knowing how to go the extra mile and what can be tailored for clients
*Maintain and develop client relationships, to optimise quality of service, business growth, & client satisfaction
*Manage effectively all opportunities for cross selling and upselling
*Database building and cleansing
*Working towards sales targets - Revenue and GP
*All product training is given personally by the Directors and owners of the business

Candidate specification:
*Must have previous sales experience
*Previous experience of account management of existing business
*Previous experience of managing new business pipelines to secure the account
*Tenacious and target-driven
*Hungry and money-driven
*Full UK Licence - essential due to the nature and requirements of the role
*Experience of working towards and achieving sales targets
*Hungry and money-driven
*Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships
*Self-motivated and organised to manage own workloads
*Able to work independently
