Sales Account Manager

My client, an industry leading distributor, is currently recruiting for a Sales Account Manager to join their sales division in Blackpool.

My client is looking for an experienced Sales Account Manager with a keen interest in Technology and a high level of customer service skills. The ability to think on your feet with a hunger for technology and product knowledge, is key to this position. You must also be a strong and confident communicator on the phone, enthusiastic and target driven.

The Role:

The Sales Account Manager role is also proactive, so there will be inbound sales call throughout the day either for pricing or advice. You would therefore need to be friendly, approachable and with an aptitude for spotting a sales opportunity.

This is an extremely fast paced customer facing role dealing with specification, design and order fulfilment for large National and Key accounts, selling to the installer base.

You will need to have good rapport building skills to build long lasting relationships with National Key clients.


As the Account Manager, you will need an aptitude for Sales and a proven track record in dealing with business to business sales. 80% of the role will be reacting to inbound calls with 20% being proactive outbound calls to an existing customer base and prospecting for new business.
