New and expanding Energy supply company serving the business market requires Customer Account Advisor to join their growing support function.

As part of the Customer Support team, your role will be to deliver a positive and professional service, whether it be responding to customer queries via phone and email, speaking with our partners and suppliers, or the management of various back office processes. You will ensure a positive experience for all customers as well as looking for opportunities to increase revenue and close sales. You will be trained and have your knowledge developed in the energy supply market across Micro-Business, SME and I&C customer segments; Gas Balancing and Electricity Settlements; Regulatory frameworks for both the Gas and Electricity markets; Billing regulation and compliance and Metering and Data Collection;
Acting as the first point of contact for all customer engagement;
Proactively manage and deliver a positive experience throughout the customer journey;
Actively contact clients to develop new business relationships
Maintaining accurate account information within the CRM system;
Ensure the timely and accurate billing of accounts, reviewing and resolving any exceptions that may occur;
Process customer payments and ensure accounts are reconciled accurately;
Work with partners and agents to ensure the successful validation of data with central industry systems;
Validation of inbound invoices and arranging payment;
Various data entry and administration tasks;
Reporting against KPI’s as required.
Key skills and experience:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
Excellent attention to detail;
Numerate with good analytical skills;
Some sales experience or natural sales ability would be preferred;
A fast learner and enthusiastic about learning new subjects and acquiring new skills;
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment and able to quickly respond to changing business needs and demands;
Ability to manage your own workload with minimal supervision.
Computer literate with good knowledge of MS Office;
Previous experience working within an office based Customer Service focused position;
Experience within the energy market would be preferable but is not essential.
