Job Title: Sales Account Manager - IT Solutions

Hours: Full time

Location: Ilkley

Salary: £18,000 - £22,000 DOE + commission. OTE’s £30k in the first year

Our award winning client are seeking to expand their professional and dynamic sales team with 2-4 new professionals to join them in March / April 2018 following an office relocation to a brand new building with state of the art facilities!

Our client operates predominately in the financial and legal fields and have an extensive client base so the ability to deal with high volume is essential for this role! You will be working in a friendly yet dynamic team who all believe in working towards the same goal and driving the business forward together.

As a Sales Account Manager you will follow up on warm leads generated for you by the sales support team and conduct online software demonstrations prospective clients. You will need to be methodical and organised for this role as you will be taking complete ownership over your clients and will be in charge of following up with them to make a sale. You will be providing cutting edge software solutions so need to be confident from a technical/IT point of view however full training will be given on all the industry/product specifics.

You will also be expected to do your own business development in your time. You will be targeted on new business conversions and upselling with very realistic OTE’s of £30,000 for your first year. You will need to have the ability to quickly establish and build relationships with clients and keep them engaged at all times. This is an incredibly varied and fast paced role so the ability to work well under pressure is essential and having proven experience of this would be highly advantageous.

The ideal candidate:

  • Previous sales experience is essential

  • Proven experience of working towards and meetings targets and KPI’s

  • Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service and business development skills

  • Excellent communicator and telephone manner

  • Ability to build a rapport with clients via telephone

  • Good team player

  • Driven and dedicated employee
