Salaried General Practitioner - Lochinch eligible for COS

Exciting opportunity for a Salaried GP to join our Lochinch Practice. 

Lochinch Practice are pleased to welcome applications from ST3 candidates who require a SKILLED WORKER Certificate of Sponsorship to continue working in the UK. The Practice takes advantage of the full range of pastoral support the NHS board offers international candidates including relocation packages and access to clinical skills training.

What we want

We are ideally looking for a full time salaried GP however we are happy to support a more flexible approach whereby you can mix practice hours with our amazing out of hours team or develop your skills in our local rural hospital.

The successful applicant should be motivated to provide excellent patient care as well as taking a lead role in the ongoing development of clinical services within the practice.

Who we are

Lochinch Practice is one of three practices based in the Waverley Medical Centre and has a patient size of approximately 3000 patients which are served by an experienced team of salaried GPs, Advanced Practitioners, a Practice Nurse, a Healthcare Assistant and an experienced admin team. We also work with a wider multidisciplinary team consisting of district nurses, pharmacotherapy and mental health worker and benefit from the close proximity of the local Community Hospital and have a close working relationship with the Doctors and Staff in the Hospital.

Stranraer is a superb location for all outdoor activities. There are a variety of stunning locations within the region and the mix of beautiful countryside with access to urban opportunities will allow the successful candidates to embrace the unique challenges and opportunities presented by rural practice. The nearest ferry port being only 6 miles from Stranraer.
