Safety, Health, Wellbeing & Security Manager

A leading Utilities company is seeking a Safety, Health, Wellbeing & Security Manager to pro-actively deliver the strategies and oversee local initiatives to improve performance. You will also be required to provide professional safety advice to management and facilitate the implementation of policy. This role is based from Berkshire and travel will be required.

The Role:

  • Develop strategies to improve safety, health, wellbeing and security performance, making sure the business is seen as a leader in the field
  • Implementing the safety, health, wellbeing and security policies and objectives by raising awareness, monitoring performance and reporting key issues and statistical data to business senior management
  • Raising awareness in the business through identifying training needs, planning and delivering training in line with the annual training plan
  • Developing a professional safety, health, wellbeing and security team by managing advisors and other departmental resources

The Candidate:

  • CMIOSH or equivalent
  • Diploma level (or equivalent ) in Occupational Health and Safety
  • Substantial H&S technical and managerial experience
  • Experience of working in a process focused, complex business function
  • Motivated and driven individual with excellent time management skills
