I have an opportunity to work as a Ruby Developer on a really exciting Greenfield application. This build is an entirely new Ruby on Rails web application that will handle 20,000 enquires daily. As part of this role as well you will have the opportunity to contribute your work to the open source community!
You're experience will range from delivering high quality Ruby on Rails applications. You will get to put your technical stamp on this application through contributing to the architecture of the application. If you like to mentor junior developers, this role will also give you that opportunity to help the next generation of Ruby Developers.
To succeed as a Ruby Developer, you will:
- Have experience developing clean beautiful Ruby on Rails applications as party of a larger team. Contributing to the more complex development tickets.
- Have experience testing your own code and where possible applying TDD.
- Have an understanding of fundament CI/CD principles and if possible.
- Be confident in mentoring Junior Ruby Developer or two to help them achieve as much as they can
