Here at Skipton Building Society we are excited to have two
new vacancies to join the Systems Development Team as a Robotic Process
Automation (RPA) Developer. This role is dedicated to helping the Society
become more efficient, more innovative and easier to interact with.
You will work alongside other RPA Developers and Analysts as
well as colleagues from across the Society with a collaborative approach,
supporting the automation of processes and, in turn, enabling our colleagues to
focus on value-added activities. As an RPA Developer you will play a key role
in contributing to our Society strategy and change processes by interpreting
requirements, producing estimates and safely developing and maintaining RPA
Utilising Agile methodologies, you will be expected to work
well under pressure and prioritise effectively, balancing risk versus reward
and maximising cost effectiveness and profitability for the Society. Solid
relationship management skills are a must to satisfy a wide range of internal
stakeholders, as such you will be an excellent communicator and have the
ability to influence and engage at all levels.
As a passionate innovator with desire for change, you will
have experience of delivering excellent customer service across a range of
areas and taking a proactive approach when considering improvements. You will
be open minded to new technologies and a strong problem solver.
Experience of RPA tools is essential, Kofax RPA
Certification is desirable but experience / certification with other RPA Tools
such as UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere etc. would be just as good. As
we use ‘Kofax Kapow’ here at Skipton Building Society a Kofax RPA
Training/Certification will be provided in the role if you don’t already have
The following experience is also key to success in the role:
- Working with Cloud solutions
(i.e. Azure DevOps) - Exposure to other
programming languages (i.e. T-SQL, PowerShell) - Knowledge of Software
Development Lifecycle methodologies, particularly Agile - Exposure to testing and
release management - Experience in business
process and requirements analysis - Knowledge of project
methodologies (i.e. PRINCE)
