Routine and Reactive Maintenance Supervisor
6 Month Contract
£25 - £30 p/h

The Background

I am recruiting for a Routine and Reactive Supervisor to join one of the UK's leading International Infrastructure groups on a contract basis to plan and supervise maintenance work as part of a framework.


To be a successful Routine and Reactive Supervisor you will have:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Highways or Road project experience
  • Strong planning and organisational skills
  • Relevant qualification such as IOSH, NRSWA or NEBOSH
  • Excellent communication and people management skills
  • PC Literate

The Role

As a Routine and Reactive Supervisor you will:

  • Plan and supervise routine & reactive highway maintenance teams repairing potholes and other minor highway repairs
  • Work with the depot manager to develop a program of works that reflects the needs of the localities within the area
  • Ensure daily work schedules are correct and that gangs are deployed in effective manner
  • Ensure works are delivered to the correct specification and quality
  • Assist in the management of staff timesheets, job sheets and associated paperwork
  • Manage the material ordering process and ensure effective stock management
  • Ensure work is carried out to the highest HSEQ standards
