Location of office for this role - South London, Project across London and home counties
My client are a leading retail fit out main contractor predominantly within the food retail sector. They work on a nationwide basis but do have regional offices in Scotland, The North of England and London. Due to expansion and growth within the business after winning more and more tenders each year they are looking at expanding their high management staff within the London office.
Formed in 1992 and today they employ more than 160 highly skilled professionals on a diverse range of construction projects throughout the UK. My client's reputation for quality has grown alongside the expansion of their services and their nationwide reach. They have a client list that includes many of the UK's biggest and best-known companies and organisations such as ASDA, Morrison's, B&Q, The Co-operative, Tufnell's and Sainsbury's. Project prices do range from £50,000 - £10 million but do average out between £250,000 - £2 million.
Candidate Profile and Expectations -
My client are growing and expanding with the market. They are looking for forward thinkers within the market that can join a strong team that they've been building for nearly 25 years now. Please see below some of the Key Criteria they are looking for -
*5 + Years within a Contracts Management Role
*Fit Out, Refurbishment, Remodel, Refit or Internal Alteration experience.
*Fast Track, Fast Paced, LIVE Environment experience.
*Flexible to travel and working hours can vary so someone with flexibility.
*Someone who understands, implements and respects that Health, Safety and Environment is a key part of the role and must be met and exceeded on Site at all times.
Preferable Criteria would be -
*Experience working across COOP, ASDA, TESCO or Morrison's projects.
*10+ years' experience.
*Comes from competitor background such as - Base Build, Fit Out UK, ISG Retail, Harry Grover's etc.
*Can start in January 2018!
This is a roaming role so my client are looking for someone who has experience controlling multiple projects at varied prices at any one time. They must be able to use MS Project, ASTER or be able to create, adapt and follow programs. This role will be very client facing and as such you must be presentable, professional and understand how to manage the client needs, wants and expectations at all times.
Salary - £50,000 - £55,000 + Car Allowance + Package
