This is a newly-created position at the Sheffield office of a multinational law firm with over 60 offices worldwide. In this full-time role, you will act as the direct line manager for a new team of Conflict Analysts. You will be responsible for recognising conflict issues and considering any applicable legal or regulatory requirements, firm policy, and any reputational and conflict implications. Strong interpersonal skills are especially important for this role as you are responsible for escalating potential legal or commercial conflict issues to fee earners across the firm.
Other desirable attributes are:
- Educated to degree level, preferably with a law degree or qualified in Compliance
- Previous experience in a law firm
- Technical knowledge of the Solicitors Code of Conduct (Chapter 3 and 4) and equivalent rules in other jurisdictions (as appropriate)
- An analytical background
- Excellent attention to detail
