Due to an increasing of exciting new instructions, a leading Underwriting insurance agency is now looking to recruit a home based Risk Management Surveyor to cover the Cheshire region. The company has grown rapidly over the past few years and can offer fantastic career progression for the right individual.
About the Role?
You’ll be responsible for visiting construction sites, either new-build or conversions, to carry out risk management site audits to ensure technical compliance with the Technical Manual and Building Regulations to issues warranty certificates.
Working closely with developers and contractors, you’ll offer technical advice and guidance through the construction process. Due to the position being a home based role you’ll Effectively self manage, by forward planning own workload, to provide a responsive, helpful and professional service whilst maximising time spent on site.
Once you have completed your site visit you’ll actually record inspection details on the database and communicating comments to customers.
To be successful in this position you should have sound Building Regulation knowledge and have experience of site inspections and being able to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders.
On top of this you’ll be expected to have part/Full membership of professional such as TechRICS / ACIOB / CABE / LICWCI or similar.
