Eames Consulting are currently partnering with a Lloyd's insurer who are looking for a Risk and Controls Analyst for a 12 months fixed term contract to be based in their Birmingham office. The Risk and Controls Analyst will assist in the management and coordination of operational risk, controls and interdepartmental services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute annual control assessment and improvement plans for COO functions.
  • Review previous audit and incident controls, self-attested controls, and key governance policies.
  • Ensure COO functions comply with risk, audit, and compliance obligations.
  • Maintain a compliance register to track ownership and obligations.
  • Produce management information (MI) reports, engage stakeholders, and collect data.
  • Stay updated on relevant regulations in collaboration with the compliance team.
  • Develop and maintain internal procedures and frameworks for COO functions.
  • Review policies with the Procurement team.
  • Coordinate annual reviews of internal agreements to ensure relevance and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with service owners to gather performance data.
  • Produce service level reports for committees
