Help Desk Officer
AfC Band 4 plus a High Secure Environmental Allowance of £1,336.68 per annum
Contract Duration – Fixed Term until 2023
To provide first line hardware and software support and advice to hospital staff. Meeting agreed Service Levels and delivering an effective and efficient end-user support interface for IT equipment/systems used.
Provide the hospital with an acceptable customer based first line support service through the IM&T department Help Desk for IT hardware, software faults, enquiries, general help and advice.
Knowledge of MS Windows Operating Systems, Office applications and Computer Hardware is essential as is a familiarity LAN and WLAN networking and protocols such as TCP/IP.
Experience within a Helpdesk environment is essential and the post holder will be expected to work in accordance with call handling procedures to ensure call are effectively resolved.
