What does the role entail?
Reporting into the Reward Manager as the Reward Advisor you will take responsibility for all Reward, pay, compensation and benefits queries, ensuring all new starters are fully aware of the reward and recognition schemes available to them when they start too. You will be involved in salary and benefit benchmarking twice a year as well as analysing areas of the compensation function and working with the Reward Manager on gender pay gap reporting. Part of your role will also be submitting the payroll monthly, running the reports, checking for accuracy, calculating statutory payments, annual leave and occasional payslip calculations too. You will also be involved in ad hoc project work around total reward.
What skills will you have?
You will have worked in a similar Reward role before to the one outlined above dealing with Rewards queries with a good understanding of rewards, pay, compensation and benefits, be confident with Excel, engaging with project work and happy picking up ad hoc tasks. You will be highly analytical with strong numeracy skills, a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, who is a self-starter, who can influence, work under pressure, multi task as well as being a great individual at prioritising. Added bonuses would be having started CIPD qualification, experience in a professional services organisation, working knowledge of benefits platforms and induction experience would all be advantageous (but not essential)
