Mechanical Design / CAD / Revit

We’re an established AV integration company working on high-end residential projects, designing and delivering lighting and audio-visual systems into new and existing homes.

We’re looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our design team. This would suit either:

Someone with experience in a similar AV / lighting / building services / M&E design role, or a recent design graduate (Mechanical, Product/Industrial, Building Services or similar) with strong CAD skills.

The Role

  • Interpret architectural drawings to produce AV and lighting layouts.
  • Create detailed design drawings and documentation for installation.
  • Work with sales, engineering, projects and installation teams to ensure systems are installed as designed.
  • Liaise with customers on design approvals, updates and sign-off.
  • Support the project team with technical queries during install.

About You

  • Degree / HND / HNC in a relevant Design or Engineering discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Confident using CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks or similar).
  • Able to read and interpret architectural drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and good organisation skills.
  • Comfortable communicating with customers and internal teams.
  • Interest in AV, lighting or smart home technology is a plus.
