An exciting opportunity has become available for a Revenue Assurance Business Consultant to join us for 9 months on a fixed term contract. The Revenue Assurance Business Consultant will be responsible for providing statistical analysis and administrative support to the Revenue Assurance team. The successful candidate will have experience in creating reports for management and board level, as you will be expected to create high level PRS for Music management reporting; communicating on all aspects of the PRS for Music licensee audit programme. You will assist the team in ensuring efficient working practices, delivering procedural changes, and forging and maintaining strong working relationships with internal stakeholders.

The Revenue Assurance Business Consultant will:

  • be responsible for maintaining detailed management information and generating KPI (key performance indicators) to support department objectives
  • be responsible for organising and creating PRS for Music committee papers and meetings. Liaising with data teams across PRS for Music including third parties
  • support the Revenue Assurance Manager in the provision of internal reporting data for review at Board/senior management level
  • be responsible for managing a portfolio of external customer audit examinations, which will include direct settlement negotiations with licensees as well as providing support to the Revenue Assurance Manager and team as necessary
  • use market and statistical analysis to profile/assess new examination targets
  • collate and prepare data from internal Revenue Division databases and prepare it for use by our appointed auditors
  • organise and attend both internal and external licensee/auditor meetings
  • review PRS for Music data and respond to third parties, both licensee and auditors
  • update control logs and other essential data logs

To be a success in the role you will have:

  • a high level of Excel knowledge and data interrogation skills
  • experience in creating high level reports for management and board
  • experience in statistical analysis
  • experience in a financial and/or music royalties role
  • demonstrable negotiation skills
  • experience in problem solving and time management within a fast-moving environment
  • a sound knowledge of relevant PRS and MCPS Licensing schemes
  • be educated to at least degree level (or equivalent)
  • excellent working knowledge of Microsoft applications
