Retention Sales Manager

We are currently recruiting a Retention Sales Manager for Renewals for an automotive client based within the Twickenham area. The Retention Sales Manager is responsible for contacting existing customers with finance agreements who are in position to renew their policy with a new vehicle.

The aim will be to bring customers into the branches and discuss a new vehicle options whilst keeping in mind both customer and the groups best interests.

  • HOURS - Monday - Friday only 9am- 6pm

Job Role:

  • Contacting current customers via telephone to bring in repeat business;
  • Demonstrate the most suitable options to the customer, ensuring they understand the options clearly;
  • Providing the customer with realistic finance solutions to match their expenditure;
  • Liaise with all the departments (pre-dominantly Marketing and Sales) to support and enhance close customer contact;
  • Develop strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business;
  • Measure monitor and report on customer retention activity.

Person Specification:

  • Relevant or transferable experience - car sales or retail with experience of finance agreements would be beneficial;
  • Exceptional telephone manner with the ability to communicate with customers at various levels and liaise closely with branch managers.
  • A high degree of professionalism
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload;
  • Work efficiently under pressure on own initiative with targeted sales focus
  • You will be required to commute to other company sites in the Brentford and Kingston areas.
