POSITION: Retail Sales Coordinator


HOURS: Monday - Friday 8:00am -5:00pm Saturday 9:00am-4:00pm

SALARY: £18,000p/a

REF: VR/00490

Our client is a supplier of building materials who supply to both small to medium businesses and end users, they are currently looking for an addition to their Customer Sales team.

Job Specification:

  • Meeting and greeting customer on arrival
  • Cash Sales processing at Front Desk
  • Taking orders over the phone and processing information onto the system
  • Generate quotation ensuring best price for the customer and closing on the sale
  • Ordering products with suppliers
  • Orgainsing delivery of products to customer
  • Taking payment over the phone
  • Updating customer account details
  • Physical stock checks
  • Email correspondence
  • General office duties as required

Person Specification: -

  • Previous retail sales experience
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Computer literate with good levels of numeracy and literacy
  • Able to demonstrate good people skills and an excellent telephone manner
  • Willing to work as part of a team

The successful candidate will have retail, customer service or sales experience. You must be happy to work outdoors or within a warehouse environment.
