Retail Pensions Senior Associate

The organisation is currently looking for a number of candidates to join their esteemed Retail Pensions Department, which is currently one of the fastest growing areas of the business.

Team Description:
The Retail Pension Oversight and Maintenance Team are responsible for processing the Fee, Tax and RSP elements of SIPP administration. In addition the team deal with regulatory and financial investigations, processes and reporting. The role is key to providing uncompromising service to our IFAs and clients.

Purpose of your role:
• To ensure timely, pro-active and high quality services to clients of the Retail SIPP including updates to
procedures through close liaison with all departments within the company where necessary
• Ability to organise their own day to day workloads and assist the Manager with planning of the team
• Provide and collate information for regulatory reporting
• Work efficiently to ensure a significant contribution to your team’s target on a daily basis
• Ensuring appropriate escalation of issues to management e.g. those that have regulatory/reputational/financial risk

• Take ownership of individual issues and ensure they are resolved to the satisfaction of the client and
the company

Experience and Qualifications Required:
• Proven SIPP/DC/DB administration experience essential
• Excellent knowledge of HMRC rules which govern pension transfers and benefit payments
• The ability to complete multiple tasks against tight deadlines is paramount for this role
• Self-starter – demonstrates good use of initiative
• Flexible and adaptable, responds rapidly to changing agendas
• Able to prioritise and organise effectively
• Communicator – effective written and verbal skills, with excellent attention to detail
• Decision maker –problem solving and solution orientated
• Numerate and computer literate (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
• Accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of service delivery, documentation and reporting
• The ability to question internal processes and encourage improvement
