What you'll be doing
As an integral part of our Retail Operation you'll be working in a trade counter environment; managing all aspects of the store operation, from front end trade counter sales to warehousing, stock management and compliance. Acting as an inspirational leader, you'll inspire customer loyalty and coach your team to be the best that they can be. This isn't your average retail role, we serve customers, pick items from the warehouse and stock shelves. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. But where we really differ is our service, we go above and beyond to make our customers happy. And you'll be at the forefront of this, building longstanding relationships and taking pride in doing a good job.
* Coaching and encouraging your team to provide a high level of customer service (this will involve being visible and leading from the front)
* Managing and recruiting great team members - spotting talent and bringing out the best in your team
* Working with your team (6-10 full and part time employees), to achieve the targets, motivate colleagues and serve customers
* Managing your store resource, right people in the right place at the right time
* Harnessing a 'One Team' environment that encourages growth and engagement
* Being part of and leading a team where safety and compliance are always top of the agenda
What you'll bring
As an experienced team manager, you'll lead from the front, inspire and motivate your team to set an example of great customer service and store standards; ensuring that the sales counter runs smoothly. Your can-do attitude and passion for retail shine through and are emulated by your team. Ideally, you'll have experience of working in a fast paced, high volume environment, although we welcome applications from varied retail backgrounds.
