Northampton - Travel to Ipswich and other retail sites as required
£50,000-£60,000 DOE, Group Performance Bonus & Excellent Benefits Package

GDPR - No problem, you've tackled that, still living to tell the tale, probably in need of a holiday but you're now looking for your next challenge.

Well hopefully that's where we come in.

In this new role we want you to lead our Data Protection activities across Drax Retail (Opus Energy and Haven Power). To some, Data Protection is like that fly you swot away that always comes back, but you, you are that fly and you'll be responsible for ensuring an effective risk-based data protection strategy is in place across Drax Retail. Most of the work will be in Northampton and Ipswich, there will be a little bit of travel to our other sites, so it's guaranteed you'll be well known around the company.

As it's a new role it's hard to give you detail on a standard day but you'll be managing an effective compliance and policy framework, you'll be recognised as the Data Protection expert across Drax Retail and ensure all our employees are aware of their responsibilities relating to data protection and maintain compliance with GDPR whilst getting us ready for the new UK Data Protection Act.

In short, you'll be busy but don't worry, there is a talented Data Protection team for you to lead, mentor and call on their expertise.

So, if you've got in-depth knowledge of Data Protection law and able to put it into practical everyday application, if you can spot gaps in current processes and you're confident working with senior management to influence them on change, we'd love to hear from you.
