Job Summary

We are looking to recruit a Junior Retail Construction Project Manager who has 3-4 years experience in the retail fit out construction industry. Working closely with the Construction Project Manager you will be a key contributor to the efficient running and delivery of these store fit out projects. This an office based role in Chiswick - West London.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing the overall project fit-out programme utilizing MS Project
  • Controlling the fit-out store budgets and handling all supplier procurement
  • Liaising with landlords, solicitors, land agents, retail designers and building control
  • Overall communication and co-ordination of all sub-contractors
  • Assisting in managing the new store snagging issues to resolution
  • Organising surveys, issuing of contractor RA/MS and tender pack submissions
  • Assisting in the collection of post fit-out documentation e.g. As-Built drawings / O&M manuals
  • Management of small and medium refurbishment projects and upgrade works
  • Handling all maintenance issues and H&S policies relating to existing stores.
  • Liaise with sub-contractors and third parties to resolve queries satisfactorily

Key Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • 3-4 years retail fit out experience
  • Experienced in dealing with railway stations/shopping centres would be advantageous
  • Ability to read scaled plans and interpret store design requirements
  • Proven organisational, planning and implementation abilities
  • Working knowledge of MS Project advantageous
  • Ability to prioritize and possess the flexibility to adjust to constantly changing demands
  • Excellent communication skills combined with diplomacy and tact in dealing with people
  • Ability to work effectively under limited supervision in a fast-paced environment
  • Results orientated, pragmatic, assertive, tenacious, conscientious with a positive attitude
